#Orangeberry Book Review - Daimones by Massimo Marino

Daimones (Daimones Trilogy, #1)Daimones by Massimo Marino
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I'm not sure if this book was written in another language and then translated but there are several sections where the sentences just do not flow as well it should. I would have loved to given this book the full five stars because the story deserves it but the editing didn't do it justice.

There's a very Hitchcock feel to this story. Imagine waking up one morning and you're not sure if you'll live to see the end of the week. There were bits when the pace is as fast as the newer Terminator movies and you want to run and hide somewhere too.

Good story-telling, could have had a better editor. Liked it anyway.

Would I recommend this read? Oh yes, definitely.

Overall assessment:
Content: 4/5
Editing: 3.5/5
Formatting: 4/5
Pacing: 4/5
Offensive content?: PG13 to PG15 for theme and content.

Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book from the author via Orangeberry Book Tours. I did not receive any payment in exchange for this review nor was I obliged to write a positive one.
