Author Interview – Angelina Rose

How do you work through self-doubts and fear? First of all I tell myself its OK to feel fear … then I feel a little down for a bit. Then I get sick of feeling that way and decide I have to get out of my comfort zone. I then look at what I want to achieve and work out the steps I need to take to reach my goal. I tell myself I can do whatever it is and that is that. Mind you, there are times I need to remind myself of my self-talk. But slowly and surely, I get there.
What scares you the most? A man with a gun in his hand!
What’s your greatest character strength?  Perhaps being able to set my intention and then being able to let it go.
What’s your weakest character trait? I can be a bit of a dreamer.
Why do you write? I’ve been writing since I can remember. I won my first prize for a short story when I was 12 … much to my mother’s surprise – it took me several more years though to publish a book. My first romance novella was Emma’s Vacation which was released in 2012.  I guess I can say telling stories and writing is a part of me,
What are you most proud of in your personal life? The fact I had the courage (and the knowledge) to help people who were suffering whilst they were trapped and waiting to be rescued from a train crash.
What books did you love growing up? Little Women, Little Men and Jo’s Boys by Louisa M Alcott, they were my favorite books. I would read them over and over. My mother would take them away to stop me reading.

What book genre of books do you adore? Romance and Mysteries
What book should everybody read at least once? Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
